Wartime Issues and Postal History

The period of the Second World War was a period of austerity at home as nations redirected their efforts toward victory in the conflict.   Haiti was no exception to this and postal issues were designed to reflect hope and a national spirit of survival.

Mail was censored and some of those marking types are very rare and much sought after.
