Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

The final unauthorized release produced to mark the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games consisted of a large souvenir sheet offering a 3-D (three dimensional) effect.  As will be noted in the image below, the main circular stamp designs noted on the plain paper souvenir sheets were combined.  Depending on the angle at which the sheet is held, one or the other stamp image will be seen.   The heavy plastic coating on the surface of the paper backing slightly blurs the sheet as one looks at it.   This item was made available to collectors in both perforate and imperforate condition.
