Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

The third unauthorized series marking the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games consisted of two large souvenir sheets.   The top stamp design in each features a picture of the Potala Palace in Lhasa, while the circular stamp designs differ in the lower portion of each sheet.    The circular stamp designs of the first type of souvenir sheet display scenes from within China.   The circular stamp designs on the second type illustrate the five characters that were designed to serve as the mascots of the Olympic Games.
