Lot 9. Cover sheet, Port au Prince to Bordeaux via Le Havre 15 December 1826. On front is a superb strike of "P.AU PRINCE", marking illustrated by Jamet below the heading "REPUBLIQUE INDEPENDANTE". Also on front is, in red, "COLONIES PAR LE HAVRE', see Salles vol.1 #42 and 11 (decimes) due. Clean & sound, almost VF.
