Lot 1. Scott #1, 1c vermillion, mint. 48 copies nearly all fresh and VF, four clear margins and OG. All are hinged to album page in plating format. Plating is complete except for positions 29, 30, and 40. Includes six horizontal pairs, one with bottom sheet margin, square block of 4, and a block of 6 with bottom sheet margin, 3 wide by 2 high. Shade and paper coloration variations. Attractive.
